Deathly Hallows part 1(contains spoilers for those who haven't seen or read the books)

So the dvd/blu ray came out friday I have watched it twice so far. First off each time it has seemingly been easier to suppress the tears for Dobby. I was surprised when seeing this in the theater how much it affected me. It affected me a lot in the book as well, but when you see something played out it has quite an impact. Dobby was my sisters favorite character, so that made it harder as well. I once again got sucked into the score. While I know many people had various opinions about Desplat doing the score and not Williams or Hooper, I personally think he did a good job. It was very stirring music like it should have been. But I still think my favorite score of the movies so far has been Half Blood Prince, "In Noctem" is just pure brilliance. And "The Drink of Despair"....soooo good!! Favorite moments from the movie...7 Potters sequence. I watched the making of feature on the extras, I really like the scene, I thought it was very well done! Dan acted the others out really well. I also really liked the finding the sword sequence with Snapes patronus, and the appearance of Ron and the killing of the locket. Just an awesome bit. I am unsure how everyone else feels about the animated bit about the Tale of the Three Brothers. I thought it wasnt too bad, but I was rather distracted in thinking that the second brother resembled Abe Lincoln...minus the top hat of course. The bit with Hermione and the lead snatcher(whom I believe to be Scabior) in the forest was good, a bit freaky when I first saw it. The dude kinda creeps me out, as he should. Hermione wiping her parents memories was heartbreaking. Ron leaving was well done. Though I do think they should have left the scene in of Ron telling Harry and Hermione that Voldemorts name is taboo and that's how they find people. Because that's how they find them at Lunas house(in the movie of course). The whole Malfoy manor thing was done very well. Big props to Emma Watson and Jason Issacs who I thought both stood out in the scene. I was expecting Ron to be more upset though. I can't imagine listening to the screams of someone I love while they are being tortured. Dobbys death was heartbreaking of course, and I think Dan did very well. One thing I am left wondering about is Wormtail. Did Dobby kill him? and if he didn't how do they plan to work that into the next movie??...many things to think on of course. Just under 90 days now till the end of the movies. Have to say it already feels bittersweet. What a ride its been.
