Deadliest Catch is BACK!

Got to see most of the season 7 premiere of DC last night. Though I must admit I missed about 15 minutes of it because I fell alseep. I caught the encore showing which started at 11pm and ran till 1am. I was out late last night, but I just had to watch my most favorite show. I was glad I did and I plan on watching it all the way through(minus falling asleep this time)again very soon. I liked the beginning with all the boats floating next to one another as they launched Phils ashes(in a crab pot) into the Bering sea. It was very dramatic, this is true. But I liked it. They made it seem at first like Edgar had indeed left the Northwestern, but this wasn't so, he just came on deck after everyone else. But for a moment I was quite upset. From what I can tell its going to be an interesting season for the guys aboard the Northwestern as it seems Jake forgets to check his feelings at the door. Which lets be honest isnt uncommon for him. I was glad to see both Harris boys aboard the Cornelia Marie, and doubly glad to see that Jake Harris passed a drug test. I hope he continues on the straight and narrow. Also glad to see the Time Bandit boys back as well. It still hasnt sunken in that I met Johnathan, Andy and Sig last July. I realized that about half way through watching last night...."I met those guys" I thought to myself. Still doesnt seem real. But also makes me wish that I would've made more of an effort to meet Phil when he was in town. Theres 2 new ships in the fleet this year. Not sure how I feel about them yet, its just too early to tell I think. I am wondering if they Captains ditched their preseason tradition of doing a burn barrel as it was not shown. Of course with Phils passing, maybe it just doesnt seem right. but who knows. I am certainly looking forward to a long season of Deadliest Catch, and hope they plan to film After The Catch as well. Man I love this show!!
