The Deathly Hallows

2 days ago they released the first official trailer for DH. I must say I was very nervous about it because I thought HBP had way too many spoilers, and you could tell that they left things out of the movie that were crucial to the plot just by watching the trailers. Well I couldn't help myself and watched the DH trailer anyway and have watched numerous times since. I feel the total opposite about it that I did with HBP. I don't feel fearful that they've left things out. as a matter of fact it looks as though most everything is in place. except for a few minor things. The trailer to me was very moving, the music was simply brilliant. The few things they added looked amazing. And this is just the trailer. I can't even imagine how I'm gonna feel watching the movie. well I know I'll cry, that's for sure. It just adds so much more excitement for me, seeing the trailer. It makes it real. The end of the movies is close. It's both sad and exciting. I can't wait to see it. But then again, I'm not ready for the journey to end. Harry Potter represents so much good and positive things in my life. I can only hope that those continue on after the movies are done.

Deadliest Catch- The beginning of the end for Capt. Phil

Last nights episode sort of marks the beginning of the end. If you watched you saw that Captain Phil was having some visual disturbances. I think at this point most people know that he passed away last February, so I don't feel like I'm spoiling anything. But knowing whats ahead keeps me feeling somber while watching. I believe in the next episode we witness Phil have a stroke. Which means there's only an episode or very few left that he'll be in. My mom ordered me a Captain Phil T-shirt the other day from the Discovery store. I plan on wearing it when I see Captain Sig and the Hillstrand Brothers Live at the Schnitzer in July. Though the Northwestern is my favorite boat, and I dearly adore Edgar, this season is about Phil. It's going to be really tough to watch. And even more tough to watch may be seeing After the Catch, the show that comes on right after DC which is all the Captains and some deckhands discussing whats happened in that episode. Just last nights Johnathan got choked up and walked off the set after them rolling some clips of him and Phil riding motorcycles together. Once again, I'm boggled by the fact that a total strangers death can affect me so closely. Rest in peace Phil. And Long Live Deadliest Catch <3

What's up?

Ok, so its been over a month since I posted a new blog. Sorry. I guess this would be a good time to inform you that, I am lazy. LOL. well its true, I am lazy, but I also dont want to be one of those people that post things once every day, cause thats a bit overkill. so I guess it could be worse. So new stuff going on is, I just got my hair cut and colored yesterday. its a bit darker and has a different style to it. Which is good :) I got a new bike and since its spring means the weather is better, so I'll be out riding more often getting in some good exercise, which I'm excited about. I have 2 NEW Collab channels on youtube, both will have a new vid posted to them by saturday. Filming vids can be a bit tricky because I have a 3 yr old, and he tends to get kinda loud and that throws me off track and etc when I'm trying to film. So I either have to film outside or while he's napping. Sometimes doing either of those things isnt a possibility, so I dont always get to film when I want. But I will post links to those vids here once I get them done. Another new thing happening is I am getting a new tattoo done on sunday! YAY!! Will post a pic of that when its finished. Can't wait for new ink :D I got some good books to read: Will Grayson, Will Grayson-John Greens new book, and Sig Hansens new book North by Northwestern. Those on top of re-reading Deathly Hallows for Lily & Stag Inn has given me a bunch of new and GOOD reading material :) New season of Deadliest Catch is underway. Last nights episode has forced me to realize that Edgars time on the Northwestern may be coming to an end soon. He seemed very homesick last night. and on top of that had a power struggle with Psycho Sig. Hopefully Edgar stays on for awhile longer, cause I do love seeing him. well I love him period. Please Edgar stick around for awhile longer!! Watched Lost this a.m.(Deadliest Catch is on at the same time, and Catch is my MOST favorite show). Seems my favorite character on that show, Jack, is doing some deep thinking like my dearest Edgar. Good lord what is up with my characters lately?? Hopefully Jack ends up with Kate in the end. Not much else I can say about Lost, because its just getting more and more confusing to me. Like WTF is up with Desmond?? Has he been taken over by Jacob or taken his place or something??...weird. Ok I'm gonna shut up now. i'm kinda tired, and my head is pounding still from earlier. Blasted horcrux! and Logans crawling around barking like a dog...awesome. LOL. talk soon. x

I got a Flipcam over the Valentines Day weekend, it was a late birthday present from my mom. And I have somewhat figured out my Sony Vegas editing software so VLOGS WILL BE SOON TO FOLLOW! Right now I'm working on a new outro/intro. I need to shoot some footage and find a fitting song for myself. Which can be tough, let me tell ya. RIP Captain Phil Harris

My deepest condolences go out to the Harris family and the members of the Cornelia Marie. And also to the whole fleet of Bering Sea crabbers who knew Phil. You will truly be missed Captain!

27th Birthday @ Gators

Went to Gators last night for my 27th birthday celebration. Had an awesome time, did a lot of singing, and quite a bit of drinking. But it was defintely a very memorable night. Thank you to everyone who came. A truly epic night. CHEERS! :)

a reading woe

So I am reading Eldest(the second book of the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini) and I dont know why but its getting to the point where its not interesting anymore. Like I want to just move on to the other books that I'm waiting to read. I don't know but maybe I did it to myself by getting so many books to read, but it really kinda sucks. I dont like reading if its not interesting. I mean its an interesting story, but i dont know its like the words are beginning to run together. So I've decided that instead of reading Brisingr next, due to worry that the same thing will happen, I am gonna move onto another book/series. I plan on reading Brisingr later after I've finished most of the stack I have. So yeah....

Opilio season kicks off!

So being that I am a HUGE fan of Deadliest Catch, the discovery channel sensation, its only fitting that I post about the beginning of Opilio crab season. It begins today, so shout out to all the crews heading out to catch some Opis! Hope you all have a great season. Be safe! Can't wait to see the new season of DC this spring WOOT! Also, I hope dearest Edgar had a nice birthday <3 and on another note, my thoughts are with Jake and his family as they search for his dad.
